As for how to install it, go to Add/Remove Programs and click the Windows Setup tab.....no ignore that..it isn't listed, I've just checked. I don't know to be honest. Maybe someone else will.

I am trying to save a 17 minute movie/250megs and the time remaining is 6000 minutes and counting! I never had this issue with the original Windows Movie Maker. would like to extract Windows Movie Maker from my Windows ME CD and install them onto my Windows 2000 laptop. Does anyone which files to extract off the CD. Awhile back, poking around the hard drive, my son opened up Windows Movie Maker. We have never had reason to use it and no one had ever run it before. Anyway, when he did so, it apparently created a new folder in My Documents, called "My Videos"; this folder was DEFINITELY not there beore he opened Movie Maker.

You COULD use a CD recording in Movie Maker to add a background music track, but unless you're manipulating video, it's not the tool for you.

Every time I try to import or crop a file, Windows Movie Maker crashes. I've run all the possible scan disks on my hard drive and even restored Windows XP from CD. I can't find anywhere online to redownload the program and the recovery CD isn't correcting the problem. Any ideas? All help is appreciated. --
